TOUR DE BIG BEAR
August is a big month for our BBLAAC members. The first Saturday in August is the Tour de Big Bear and our BBLACC Bike Wash Station and Pace Cars.
Our Bike Wash Station is also assisted by members of the US Bank volunteers. The station hands out food and drink to the 2500 bike riders all day long. We have our club flags and our EZ Up marking the location of the club and pace cars parking at Bear Mountain. Our members’ “pace cars” lead out the bike groups through side streets safely to the Northshore. At Northshore Elementary we set the bike riders free to tour our mountaintop. It is always a fun day!
